Manufacturing Test Engineer

Basingstoke 

Circa £60k per annum 

Working for a continuously expanding and forward thinking company on an ongoing contract basis you will have the opportunity to work on some large prospects for a diverse and high profile customer range. 

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, as a Manufacturing Test Engineer you will be responsible for conducting product verification within production and validation activities across this companies individual assembly products. You will be required to produce test strategies, procedures and processes, test plans and test reports as well as execute testing of the products based upon defined requirements and standards to be used within the manufacturing processes. 

As a Manufacturing Test Engineer your duties will include:

• Creation of test process and procedures, test plans and test reports for manufacturing in line with defined high level and low level requirements.
• Generating functional / non functional test procedures for manufacturing within agreed timescales
• Create and define system test strategies for manufacturing
• Creating and maintaining test data and environment permutations
• Effectively logging, monitoring and retesting all defects found during testing
• Escalating any issues likely to affect the project scope or timescales
• Liaising with other technical groups including production, quality, mechanical and electrical engineering and suppliers as required.

The successful Manufacturing Test Engineer will have the below experience:

• 5+ years experience as a Manufacturing Test Engineer with an understanding of testing practices within an electro-mechanical environment
• Ability to create test plans for manufacturing based on defined requirements and identify any test equipment require
