An exciting opportunity has opened with a nationwide business, offering office space for clients across greater Manchester.

My client is looking for someone who is proactive, with an outgoing personality. This person must enjoy chatting with customers and be interested in developing their understanding of the business.

Daily Tasks
  • Manage day-to-day ‘front of house’ customer and their customers’ liaison.
  • Perform reception duties in and efficient, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Answer switchboard and maintain a rapid response rate according to agreed standards.
  • Log any necessary call information.
  • Perform routine clerical tasks as assigned.
  • Liaise with customers/suppliers/visitors/enquirers and relevant staff.
  • Prepare meeting rooms and service of refreshments.
  • Maintain standard of high-level customer service.
  • Support clients move in and move out procedures and renewals.
  • Handle all customer/visitor enquiries with courtesy and a smile.
  • Keep the reception and all rooms always clean and tidy.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner, promoting a good image.
Administration
  • Make sure customers follow security procedures.
  • Ensure all tea points are fully stocked.
  • Ensure toilets are always clean.
  • Order and relevant office supplies when necessary.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety elements are managed.
  • Handle all general filing, word processing, delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Ensure conference and Meeting Rooms are at a high standard.
  • Handle Direct Debit processing.
  • Deal with petty Cash reconciliation.
 Sales and Marketing
  • Participate in Centre tours and become fully aware of the products and services on offer.
  • Be willing to get involved in selling products and learn about licence agreements.

 IT
  • Competent user of Microsoft office packages, excel experience not necessary but be willing to learn.

  • Always be able to demonstrate positive customer relationship skills.
  • Exert confident communication and presentation skills.
  • Curious and people oriented with the ability to engage customers and ask questions.
  • Ability to maintain control and perform during stressful situations.

  • Confidence to interact with customers of different seniority levels.
