Maintenance Engineer
Dudley
Morning shift- rare! 6am-2pm
£36,000 - £42,000 DOE
This is an extremely lucrative opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join a company that have experienced sustained growth over the last few years. They are part of the fmcg industry and they need a multi-skilled maintenance engineer who can hit the ground running. You will be completely multi-skilled competent with PLC fault finding (training available to interrogate) and be able to also work on hydraulics/pneumatics etc. Day to day you will be working on bespoke machinery such as thermal fluid heaters, inverters, ovens, drives, bagging machines and much more. Day to day will be a mix of reactive/PPM with some project work.

Things to note before applying:
- Required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays with time back in lieu rather than paid (day off in the week)
- No paid overtime, may need to stay over rarely to complete a job
- Call out rota but this is rare you are called out – again time back in lieu (need to be located within 10 miles from site ideally)
- 34 days holiday including being shut over Christmas
- Hands on PLC training – learn to interrogate and go on a course

Experience required for the multi-skilled maintenance engineer:
- At least 5 years experience working as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer
- MUST be competent electrically – read drawings, PLC fault finding, fault find on inverters, drives etc.
- Mechanically strong – belts, straps, chains, pulleys, belts, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.
