Contaminated Land Officer needed in Uxbridge £28.83ph ref 833767

To ensure the Client fulfils its statutory functions in relation to Contaminated Land and in particular to ensure that the public health impacts contaminated land are managed appropriate through the planning system.

The officer will also adopt a positive approach to contaminated land that secures the quality of sites appropriate for their proposed redevelopment; if necessary, the post holder will represent the Client at appeals and inquiries.

The officer will also be required to manage contaminated land searches, identify and assist with projects for the remediation of contaminated land and advise the Client as a landowner in its discharging of duties relating to land contamination.

Full time hours on a temporary basis.
