Customer Service Manager




Exciting opportunity for a Customer Account Manager to join leading manufacturing organisation in Bordon to build strong relationships with our customers, provide outstanding customer service, identify opportunities for new business within existing customer base while developing an effective Customer Service team.

Customer Service Manager Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Customer Experience
  • Assist with the growth of the company’s customer and product base by identifying, qualifying and converting new business opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Lead and develop the Customer Service team.
  • To ensure the Customer Service team understand, adheres to and keep up to date with company procedures and training records are up to date
  • To build, develop and implement a customer development plans in line with company objectives.
  • Ensure the Customer Service procedures are fit for purpose and in accordance with the company’s regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that all quotations and supporting documentation such as contract reviews are set up correctly, sent out accurately using tender documents when appropriate and followed up.
  • Ensure that all new orders are set up and handed over accurately in a timely fashion and that the customer communication throughout the NPI process is managed.
  • Managing customer queries and requirements such as progress chasing etc. in a timely fashion.
  • KPI reviewed, effective investigations completed, improvements implemented and monitored.
  • Ensure that all staff under their supervision behave in accordance with the company's handbook, procedures and values and that performance issues are dealt with in a timely manner.


Customer Service Manager Experience:

  • Have experience leading a team
  • From an engineering/manufacturing background, ideally with an understanding of electronics
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks
  • Must have a proven customer service background
