£37,900 (inclusive of 17.5% shift premium)

3 on 3 off - Days Only

6am to 6pm

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a team player to join our maintenance team consisting of 10 apprentices, and roughly 40 members in total.

Responsibilities and tasks include:
  • As a Maintenance engineer your day to day will consist of working on: chains, belts, motors, robotics machines, furnaces, plating tanks, vacuum pressure machines, hydraulics, pneumatics and more bespoke machinery as well 
  • Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks with a 60/40 ratio of planned to reactive maintenance
  • Working with key electrical components (contactors, motors, sensors, relays, inverters) 
Experience required:
  • Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or equivalent qualifications in either discipline 
  • Experience with chains, belts, bearings, rollers, motors and hydraulics, pneumatics is advantageous 
  • Any maintenance engineer from manufacturing welcome to apply – FMCG, Food, plastic, packaging, Pharmaceutical, brick, automotive, metals, etc.
  • Any experience with heat treatment, vacuum pressure machines, vacuum furnaces, and positive vapour deposition machines is highly advantageous
