Driver Hire Southampton are now recruiting for a Class 2 Tanker driver to take on a permanent position. This role is for one of our clients which specialises in moving non-hazardous waste.

About this role:

• Monday to Friday
• 6:30am start times (8-10 hour working days)
• Unblocking commercial and residential drains with suction pipes
• Moving waste within a 70 mile radius from clients depot
• Work will involve 5-10 service visits
• Taking waste to dispose to treatment plant
• Work may include occasional nights out (4-5 times a year)
• Unloading and loading suction hoses
• Training provided by the client

Requirements from our Class 2 drivers:

• Full UK driving licence
• No DD’s or DR’s
• Up to date CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Physically fit and happy with heavy lifting as you will be lifting suction hoses whilst on the job
• Must be happy with nights out
• Own vehicle to commute to and from work is essential
