Manchester City Centre (hybrid working)

£21.00 per hour

3 month temporary contract

 

The Marketing and Communications Team is looking for a new Digital Manager to provide oversight, guidance, innovation, and creativity across our digital communications estate.

The Digital Manager oversees a small team of Digital Officers providing a range of web, social and analytical services across our Education, Business and Corporate Services. The successful candidate will help develop and drive a new digital estate plan – ensuring our brand, messaging, analytics, and impact are clearly defined and shared. Working across all areas of the business, the post holder will play an integral role in helping share our story, promoting our services and transforming how our stakeholders engage with us online.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Marketing and Communications Team, you will oversee all digital activity providing strategic advice, guidance and strategic delivery for digital activity supporting The Growth Companies core business activity. You’ll work closely with colleagues from Marketing, IT and Service Delivery Teams to provide a best in class digital service across our websites, social media, and analytics and measurement. Other areas of work include:

Developing a new digital framework for the organisation, to ensure digital content meets high standards around brand, tone of voice, accessibility and timeliness.

Managing ongoing online campaigns, web development, SEO/SEM, email and social media activity such as PPC, paid social and display activity.

Ensuring the organisation is adopting best practice in terms of platforms, systems, measurement and evaluation, digital accessibility and design

Work closely with colleagues in Marketing and Communications to ensure that content is developed and published onsistently and via agreed systems and processes

Work alongside colleagues across the business to develop and manage service roadmaps, aligned with overall business goals and service areas so we can deliver great UX

Supporting development of online services, and leading on integration of websites with IT systems e.g. CRM
