Job Title: E-Sports Tutor / Trainer

Location: Hybrid – Home and Centre based

Salary: up to £45,000 DOE

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold solid occupational experience within either E-Sports or Sports, with a passion for gaming and education.
• Must hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area.
• Hold own Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths or GCSE equivalents. 
• Must be IT Literate.

*Ideally hold or willing to work towards a teaching qualification*

Duties include:

• Teach/assess learners working towards BTEC qualifications in E-Sports (L2/3) via a blended learning approach.
• Deliver Maths and English Functional Skills. 
• Promotion of the programme across a range of events/competitions/tournaments.
• Development of content and resources, in line with industry changes and trends. 
• Ensure a high level of delivery is achieved and that learners are able to realise their full potential.
• Marking of work and providing feedback to learners in relation to their progress and development.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Personal Skills:

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
