Connecting Talent to opportunity

Associate Delivery Manager

Expired

Job Description:

As an Associate Delivery Manager, you will play a key part in delivering HMRC’s business through SAP Capability, whether that is Finance, HR, Taxes or Procurement functions or within our Release, Test and Environments team.

You will ensure any SAP changes and new pieces of work are safely delivered in line with strategy, policies, process, and governance.

Working with partners in HMRC and the supplier community, you will help to ensure products or changes are produced to accurate requirements, support the delivery of our strategic objectives and be responsible for management of the change.

Whilst this is not a technical post, your inquisitive nature and enquiring mind mean you will quickly learn the IT related aspects of the role and the terminology.

We will look to you to share your skills and knowledge with colleagues whilst we provide the learning, you’ll need through our SAP Academy and other learning routes.

This is not a post with line management responsibilities; however, leadership is highly valued in HMRC and you will be expected to role model effective leadership behaviours and challenge others where behaviours fall short of expectations, in line with our commitment to providing a safe and respectful working environment for all.

While we are undertaking and embedding transformation activity, some flexibility within your role is to be expected.

The role is based in Worthing or Bristol and some travel and overnight stays may be required.

Those working an alternative working pattern are welcome to apply. However, please contact the vacancy holder before applying to confirm whether your working pattern would be suitable.

We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable adjustments to participate in the job application or interview process.
