Overview

Our clients are a currently seeking a Senior Cost Manager/ Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team, working remotely from home with the occasional requirement to travel to client project sites and the Bristol office.

The successful candidate would ideally be based in the South/ South-West for ease of commuting when required and be comfortable with working from home in an on-going basis. This client are specifically looking for candidates with prior experience working consultancy side to make an easier transition into the current team and quickly take ownership of projects.

Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 4years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally working at the design and costing stage of projects.
• Experience in commercial or built environment projects.
• Well versed in cost management, valuation, estimating, change management and risk management.
• Preferably experience with both JCT & NEC contracts, however JCT is more important for this position.
• Ideally be on the RICS pathway or already MRICS chartered – we will provide support to achieve chartership if the person is not MRICS yet.
• The successful candidate will be involved with driving the businesses success going forward, must be comfortable communicating with clients and be passionate about the work they deliver.

Expected salary of £45,000 - £65,000 (dependant on experience), fully remote working with the occasional requirement for office or project site visits. Excellent growth opportunities available with support for development.
