A brilliant opportunity has just become available to join a lovely church of England primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham as a Class Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2.

The Role

In this Class Teaching Assistant role, you will be supporting the class teacher in year 3. Your role will include supporting children across a range of lessons, leading small intervention groups and supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs. You should have excellent written and spoken English and a good understanding of maths (KS2 level). You will also be helping with the day to day running of the classroom including photocopying, preparing materials for lessons and displays. This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant or a graduate who has experience working with children.

This role is to start in April and is offered on a full-time contract until the end of the academic year (to July 2023).

This Church of England primary school is situated in Parsons Green in Hammersmith and Fulham.  The school is popular within the local community and there is good parental support for the school. They provide a broad and balanced curriculum which includes first hand experiences to challenge, motivate and include all pupils. Staff at the school are welcoming and friendly. As a 2 form entry site, teachers and teaching assistants within the year group work closely together in planning and assessment for their respective year groups.
