Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled and motivated Costing Accountant who will support the Financial Controller to delivery annual TRAC return and costing information for a higher education establishment including delivering management accountant support throughout the year.

You will be involved in the development of models for costing and pricing for external and internal purposes, including developing the TRAC model and costing research and teaching activities.  You will prepare the monthly management accounts, budget and forecasting for the Central Accounts  area, in addition to supporting the wider Financial control team with the completion of other finance related statutory returns.

You will hold a recognised accountancy qualification (CCAB equivalent) and be educated to degree standard, ideally you will have TRAC or Higher Education experience.  You will have a demonstrable and sound knowledge of accounting and the principals of activity-based costing.  You will be an effective and persuasive communicator with the ability to relate financial concepts to non-finance personnel to address data/information requirements at senior level.
