Lamonby Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity for an Internal Sales Engineer to join our client, a leading supplier of packaging machinery. This is an office-based role and the chosen candidate will live within a reasonable commute to their Fleet offices.
Sales Engineer Role
Following a recent internal promotion, we are seeking an Internal Sales Engineer who wants to further their career and join our busy team
Managing and selling to existing customers
Building and developing new business through company generated leads and via your own initiative and work
Building relationships with our Ancillary partners
Developing opportunities with new and existing customers for end of line equipment
Managing the internal sales process upon order placement
Dealing with project values of £100k upwards
You will be required to produce full costing analysis and customer quotations.
Working in conjunction and effectively with the Sales team and all other departments you will report directly to the Sales Director
Sales, Business Development, Lead Generation & Sales Administration with customers throughout UK & Ireland.
Role Requirements and Qualifications
You will be a driven, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual
Excellent communication skills, you will be confident dealing with various levels of person from within new and existing customers
Able to manage projects from initial concept to successful installation
You will have a minimum of two years of sales experience, plus an engineering background
Any experience with capital equipment will be advantageous
You will be office based but expected to be out with customers on a regular basis
Competent with MS Office (Word & Excel)
Full driving licence
