Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Full product life-cycle Design from conception through to manufacture
• Leading member of the projects team
• Running Design projects from cradle to grave
• Developing Test procedures
• Creating and modifying systems and components
• New Product Development as well as continuous Improvement on legacy products
• Documentation and BOM’s

Skills and Qualifications of a Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Mechanical Engineering Qualification (HND/HNC/BENG/MENG)
• Skilled in 3D CAD (Ideally Creo but flexible on other packages)
• Experience of thermal management would be beneficial
• Experience with Mechanical Stress Analysis
• Experience with Mechanical Enclosure Design or Cable Management would be beneficial
