£45,500 DAYS Monday-Friday:
08:30-17:00 Mon-Thurs
08:30-14:00 Friday
The Opportunity:
This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment packed to the rafters with automated machinery which includes a vast amount of robotics. The purpose of this role is to help decrease downtime.
The role as a senior maintenance engineer is being responsible for leading shop-floor activities to decrease MTBF and increase MTBF. They will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor with a dotted line to the Upstream Production Business Unit Manager, ensuring downtime events have minimal impact on production targets.
The ideal candidate will ideally possess strong technical knowledge and have hands on experience of maintaining; vacuum systems, melting furnaces, high pressure die casting machines, hydraulic presses, ABB robots, overhead gantry cranes, CNC's, Siemens TIA Portal PLCs, and/or similar processes. You will have worked as a maintenance engineer (multi-skilled for five years +)

Experience required:
- Working in a safety critical environment.
- Previous experience with vacuum systems, melting furnaces, high pressure die casting machines, hydraulic presses, ABB robots, overhead gantry cranes, Siemens TIA Portal PLCs, and/or similar processes.
- Must have 5 years + working as a maintenance engineer
- Managing OEMs and other support functions.
- Previous experience coaching and training teams of skilled engineers.
- Indentured apprenticeship.
- Proven organisational skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Broad engineering skills in electrical,
- mechanical, and hydraulic disciplines.
