An ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted-rated Primary school located in Newham is looking for a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their amazing team.

Position details:

• Special Needs Teaching Assistant
• One-to-one support for children with ASD, PLMD, and complex needs
• For at least one academic year (potentially longer for the right candidate)
• Full-time (Monday-Friday)
• Hours are 8:30am to 16:00 except on Wednesday

Details about the school:

• ‘Outstanding’ in consecutive Ofsted reports
• Special Needs Teaching Assistant training provided
• Two-form entry and has SEN provision
• Located in Newham

The successful Special Needs Teaching will have:

• Minimum of three months' experience working with children with special needs
• Good understanding of SEN
• The ability to utilise a range of communication methods
• Good behaviour management skills
