We are a market leading Electronics Company who is looking for a Test Engineer to be responsible for testing and diagnosing PCB Assemblies to customer specifications, ensuring adherence to company procedures.  

The successful Senior Test Engineer will be entered into an environment in which they are exposed to a diverse range of industries including Aerospace, Defence, Security, telecommunications, Energy and Medical to name but a few.    

Responsibilities of the Test Engineer:  

*Liaising with customers to solve technical queries in a timely and efficient manner  

*Testing and diagnosing customer product to company and industry standards  

*Reporting product status in regards to Work In Progress to the Test Team Leader  

*Support Team Leader/Deputy Manager to ensure faulty product is rectified in a timely fashion  

*Assist in investigations of potential, or actual, test equipment issues.  

Experience/Qualifications of the Test Engineer:   

*HNC in electronics or related subject or qualified by experience  

*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy  

*Excellent communications skills; written and verbal  

*Good knowledge of Microsoft office to include; excel, word, access and outlook  

*Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and schematics  

*Ability to identify components  

*Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks  

*Able to work effectively to deadlines  

*Demonstrates proactive approach  

*Proven track record of fault diagnosis to component level
