We are partnered on an exciting opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business as a Production Planner. They are looking for a Production Planner to coordinate and report on the production fulfilment process.

Responsibilities of Production Planner:

• Placing purchase orders on suppliers via the MRP system
• Work closely with purchasing team to support pricing negotiations to achieve optimum cost per item
• Establish good relationships with internal clients and project teams
• Scheduling and ordering materials from engineering drawings
• Communicate technical drawing requirements clearly to suppliers
• Generating stock reports for suppliers
• Expediting of purchase orders
• Monitoring stock levels to keep optimum stock
• Planning supply chain to avoid material shortages in production
