A large, diverse primary school in Sydenham are looking for an experienced reception teacher to join their teaching team for the last half-term of the academic year.

The role

In this role you will have the opportunity to teach a creative curriculum to a class of bright, keen pupils in one of the reception classes at the school. This role has become available due to a permanent member of staff having to take extended sick leave. The school are therefore looking for an experienced reception teacher to take on the class teaching for the last half-term of the academic year. As a 3-form entry school, you will be working in a year group team to plan and assess effectively and will have the support from experienced teaching assistants based in the class. You will be able to bring an energetic and enthusiastic approach and enjoy bringing subjects to life.

This 3-form-entry primary school is based in Sydenham with good transport links.  Pupils are engaged in learning and the school staff work hard to ensure all pupils have equal access to the curriculum. There is an established leadership in place and staff feel valued and are offered training and progression within their roles.
