As the Design Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to pupils of all abilities, ensuring that they are able to reach their full potential. You will be expected to plan and prepare lessons in accordance with the school curriculum, and to assess and monitor pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality Design Technology lessons, with experience in teaching at Key Stages 3 and 4. You will have a relevant degree and a PGCE, and will be able to demonstrate your commitment to ongoing professional development.

Key responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality Design Technology lessons to pupils of all abilities
• Planning and preparing lessons in accordance with the school curriculum
• Assessing and monitoring pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
• Participating in school activities and events, such as parent-teacher conferences and school trips

Essential requirements:

• Relevant degree and PGCE in Design Technology
• Experience in teaching Design Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
