Maintenance Engineer (Continuous Improvement Engineer) HAYES
Mon-Fri - DAYS - Competitive Salary (£42500)
We are looking for a an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer who has a passion for continuous improvement. You will need to have experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering to join our food production environment (snacks). We want this engineer to join our established team of enthusiastic engineers within our production environment. You will be tasked with line improvements and project work, ensuring maximum efficiency is gained from a mechanical, electrical and controls perspective.
You will be essential in continuous improvement and achieving the production targets, by increasing efficiencies and reducing downtime. If you have experience within maintenance and have a desire to increase performance and work within the 95% for efficiency then this is a great opportunity.
The successful maintenance engineer will have experience in maintenance ideally from the food or manufacturing environment, and experience with continuous improvement, whether projects, or role specific. If you have experience reducing waste, improving throughput and increasing efficiencies within packaging, robotics, laser printers and label printers that would really set you apart.
The engineering manager is someone who strives for a more efficient, productive manufacturing environment which this role is essential to supporting. You will be be working with an established team of maintenance engineers and managers who are happy to be involved with the hands on work within production.
Investment within the production facility has created opportunities for more training, development and career progression. The successful engineer will be a time served multi skilled maintenance engineer experienced with robotics, automation and electrical components such as inverters, sensors, motors and control panels.
You will be working with machines such as, packaging machines, mixers, conveyors, automated machinery and check weighers. Experience with installations, project work and or commissioning would also be excellent but not essential.
