Job Description:

Step Teachers are working with a secondary school in North London to recruit a part-time Business Studies Teacher to join their team for the September 2023 Academic term.

The school is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher who will readily engage with the school’s ambitious, organised, and friendly educational atmosphere. Students are expected to be punctual, polite, and courteous, and are encouraged to take risks in their learning in order to develop a strong sense of independent study.

Role:
  • Good knowledge of the Business Studies curriculum
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these
Requirements:
  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Business Studies
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
  • A relevant subject-related degree is desirable
