Orion are proud to partner once again with our client located in the heart of South Yorkshire who have already become the 'go-to' for their next generation power products, are reaching new heights as a result of investment and so are looking to expand their Quality department by hiring a new Quality Engineer. 

The newly created role of Quality Engineer will report directly into the General Manager and so you will be regarded as one of the most senior individuals within the Quality team.

Your day to day will include;

• Oversee all aspects of Quality, including supervision of the Quality Testing team 
• Proactively contribute to improvement activities around the Quality Management Systems 
• Collaborate with the Procurement team on Supplier Quality issues 
• Support the implementation of quality metrics into the business 

We will be excited to hear from you if you can demonstrate;

• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Quality Engineering in either a electrical or electro-mechanical environment 
• Understanding of Technical Drawings as well as Schematic Diagrams 
• Demonstrable experience of performing Root Cause Analysis Investigations 
• Well versed on topics such as QMS implementation and improvement activities
