Site Reliability Engineer (Contract) - SRE, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Hybrid

This is a Site Reliability Engineer (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes) for a marketing services group that have several products allowing customers to save money on their everyday items. Offices are based in central Manchester with a requirement of 2 days a week in the office and 3 days remote working.

Being part of the SRE team will allow you to challenge the processes already in place within their engineering team and really making a difference.

Experience needed:

• Experienced in AWS
• Knowledge of containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes) 
• IAC (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with modern CI/CD tools 
• Well versed scripting skills (Python, BASH, Go)
• Security practices

Work involved:

• Continuously improve and maintain production systems
• Using IaC to provision and maintain infrastructure 
• Monitor, evolve and develop the CI/CD pipelines
• Being a team member collaborating with QA and Development teams to ensure a continuous flow of work
• Improvement and development of automation to assist team members
