Essential Employment is a family run recruitment agency with over 17 year of success.

Due to continued development, we are currently looking to recruit a part time Payroll & Finance administrator to join our dynamic recruitment business based in the leafy suburb of Heapey in Chorley.

For this role you must have a real passion and enthusiasm for payroll and finance.

The main job duties will include:

  • Process weekly payroll across the group according to deadlines (SAGE 50)
  • Ensure all payroll data is collected and processed accurately and on-time
  • Adjust and correct payroll errors and answer queries in a timely manner
  • Process all deductions to include SSP, SMP, Tax, NI etc
  • Assist with other duties in finance such as reconciliations

Ideal Experience would be:

  • Worked in a fast-paced environment with high volume weekly payroll runs.
  • Great communications skills to relay key information to agency workers
  • Good excel and Sage 50 skills essential
  • 2+ years experience in payroll would be beneficial

We are not a large multi-site agency but a single office with a close knit team and this is an exciting opportunity to work in recruitment and work in a busy payroll department.

Currently this role is required on a part-time basis with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

This role is being offered initially as a temporary contract at £25,000 pro rata (£13.73 per hour). This may lead to a permanent position dependent on performance.
