Linux Administrator| Contract| Remote

Pearson Carter are currently working with an innovative IT Services company who specializes in providing cloud and infrastructure solutions to global enterprises.

My client is currently in the process of moving to a DevOps model which is why they are currently for someone to assist with this project.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for production, non-production, and project support for all Linux and Unix systems.
• Responsible for the architecture, installation, patching, and support of Virtual Linux servers.  
• Troubleshoot performance and functionality problems.
• Work alongside infrastructure team, developers, and DBAs
• Support Linux and some Solaris applications and delivery services

Experience:

• Linux and Unix
• Ansible – DevOps tools
• VMWare virtualization experience
• SAN, DNS, HTTP understanding

Salary:

They are offering day rates depending on location – Looking ideally within Asia and US as the team are within these locations

6 months contract with potential extension

Location:

Fully remote role for a US client

Working Hours:

9-5:30 EST time
