Location: Manchester (must be able to drive and have their own vehicle due to occasional travel to the Liverpool office)

We are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor to join an organisation based in Old Trafford. As an integral part of the business, you will play a vital role in supporting line managers and employees on a day-to-day basis at the vibrant Liverpool and Manchester sites. Reporting directly to the Group HR Manager, you will help shape our company culture by ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Group HR Manager in implementing people-related processes, vision, and strategies aligned with legal requirements
  • Coordinate and assist with the recruitment process, making a positive impact by ensuring that we attract and onboard top talent to join our dynamic team
  • Provide efficient support systems for payroll requirements, leaving no room for error
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by assisting with the performance management and review process
  • Be the guardian of accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations
  • Stay updated on employment law developments, ensuring company-wide awareness
  • Uphold fairness and transparency by participating in disciplinary, grievance, conciliation, and mediation meetings
  • Collaborate with site management teams, providing valuable support on a wide range of HR issues
  • Support colleagues across the organisation in resolving challenging employment and dismissal issues
  • Champion the well-being and satisfaction of our employees, addressing challenges that arise in their welfare and employment journey
  • Drive our occupational health program, ensuring the well-being of our employees at each site
  • Oversee holiday administration and proactively monitor staff attendance and absence, helping us maintain productivity and a healthy work-life balance
  • Provide comprehensive HR reports to senior management teams, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning
  • Ensure training compliance in line with Learning and Development initiatives, fostering a culture of growth and continuous learning
  • Administer employee-related paperwork with precision and care, ensuring smooth processes for employment contracts, new starter packs, and formal notices of termination
  • Manage financial elements such as payroll, compensation, benefits, and pension schemes, ensuring our employees' financial well-being is well taken care of
It is also preferred, however not essential to have CIPD Level Qualification or to be qualified by experience
