Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles
  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to make science accessible and enjoyable for all students
  • Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance hands-on learning experiences
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and devise strategies for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives
  • Support extracurricular science activities such as science clubs and competitions
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in scientific research and methodologies


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialization in Science, with a strong knowledge of biology, chemistry, and physics
  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4)
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and innovative teaching approaches
