Driver Hire Southampton is excited to offer a Trade Counter Assistant position. This role is situated near Southampton and is ideal for someone who is customer service orientated and confident to adapt to any situation.

About this role:

• 12-week temp to perm position
• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am till 5:00pm
• Dealing with customers over the phone and face to face
• Stock management
• Assisting customers with their orders
• Completing deliveries when necessary
• Ensure orders for customers are prepared accurately and in a timely manner
• Apply electrical, plumbing or building knowledge to help customers in store

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• Confident over the phone and dealing with customers face to face
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Own transport to commute to and from work
• Well presented and have great customer service skills
• Experience in previous retail role is beneficial
• Electrical, plumbing or building background
• Be flexible and happy to help where needed
• Fantastic communication skills
