Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for experienced forklift drivers with an accredited licence to join one our well-established clients. You will be working for a company which specialises in the construction industry.

About this position:

• 12-week temp to perm position
• Monday- Friday- no weekends
• Working hours are: 8:00am- 6:00pm
• Unloading building materials off vehicles
• Forklift and warehouse work
• Picking and packing
• Stock checking
• Collecting orders from customers
• Dealing with customers face to face

Requirements from our forklift drivers:

• An accredited forklift counterbalance licence dated in the last 3 years
• Accreditation recognised: AITT, ALLMI, CPCS, TSSAR, NPORS and RTITB
• At least a year experience on previous forklift role
• Understand manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
• Good understanding of health and safety
• Own transport to commute to and from work.
• Fantastic customer service skills
