To work for an exciting Fintech as they look to build a brand-new platform that will enable its customers and clients to connect directly. Working in the commercial finance world you will be an established and dynamic PHP Software developer with excellent ideas and input at all levels of the SDLC.

Within the new platform you will be building out new and enhanced SaaS capabilities as well as being responsible for the design, architecture, development and testing of all the new features and functionality. This platform will be targeting both B2B and B2C customers and is essential for the business to be able to hit its targets and revenue goals. You will have strong business and commercial acumen and always be writing your code with the customers and clients in mind.
  Responsibilities

• Responsible for writing, maintaining, and extending the current and the new codebase.
• Proactively participate in developing and implementing new technologies.
• Actively willing to take ownership of activities, from designing, test analysis, executing, raising, and tracking defects, and test estimation.
• You will be building a brand-new platform with a full redesign and development of the site
• Must be commercial aware and have good business acumen. You must be writing code with the customers and clients in mind and be aware of how this will affect the business.

  Key technologies:

• Symfony / Laravel (ideally Laravel)
• Docker
• AWS
• Frontend framework experience (preferably React, NextJS)
• Functional testing
• MySQL / PostgreSQL
• PHP
• REST API’s
• Experience in working in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) environments
