Technical Fleet Controller

As a Technical Fleet Controller in the Service Support Team, you will play a crucial role in efficiently and effectively handling customer requests, maximising vehicle uptime, and ensuring the smooth management of off-road incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the invoicing cycle across operations 
  • Handle customer booking requests and authorisations, utilising your expert knowledge to minimise costs and maximise vehicle uptime.
  • Effectively manage vehicle off-road incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and maximising vehicle availability.
  • Liaise with manufacturers to ensure the best outcomes for customers, including parts chasing, loss of use, loan vehicles, and warranty contributions.
  • Oversee compliance management for ancillary and heavy goods vehicles (HGV) assets.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for technical escalations, invoice disputes, and additional processing needs.
Allocate daily tasks across operating systems, demonstrating effective time management and prioritisation.???????

Requirements:
  • Essential mechanical vehicle knowledge.
  • Experience in fleet management and customer-facing roles preferred
  • Proficiency in PC usage, including email, electronic diary management, and internet navigation.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, with a positive, assertive, and confident style in both verbal and written interactions.
  • Strong questioning and listening skills, with the ability to gather accurate information.
  • Proactive approach, committed to delivering effective solutions and ability to multitask with accuracy.
  • Flexibility and resilience, reacting with a sense of urgency to challenges and maintaining high standards under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, seeking personal development and embracing challenging situations to provide innovative solutions.
