Transport Operations Manager '' Contract Role

Hourly Rate: £30 per hour

Orion is partnered with a well-established business located near Dundee, Scotland, which is recruiting for a highly experienced Transport Operations Manager.

The focus of this Transport Operations Manager is to oversee & manage the entire project from Drivers, stock, compliance, MOTs, and logistics to ERP systems & vehicle maintenance schedules.

Transport Operations Manager Duties:

• Manage 2x fleets of commercial and bulk stock orders.
• Manage 15x Drivers & 1x Transport Supervisor on a daily basis.
• Manage compliance, driver hours, infringements, Service Maintenance schedules & all logistics.
• Use ERP system in place to resource plan & manage the staff's schedules.

Transport Operations Manager experience

• Experience managing commercial fleets.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Managing driver compliance, working hours, infringements & service maintenance schedules.
• Planning & commercial planning.
• Working with large industrial tankers & flatbed trucks
• CPC Certification
• People management

Shifts: Monday '' Friday 8am '' 5pm
