Job Title: Industrial Electrician
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Full Time, Permanent
Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire (Office based, 8:30-5pm Mon-Wed, 8:30-4pm Thurs-Fri)
 
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a highly successful and thriving scientific equipment manufacturer and supplier. The business works for clients around the world and across a wide range of sectors including energy, chemicals, pharma, nuclear decommissioning.
 
The role includes panel and field wiring of the machinery that we build, and all aspects of electrical maintenance on the site. It requires the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs. An understanding of analogue and digital and PLC communications is advantageous. Variety, a fast pace, and the need for problem solving are defining features of the work.
 
Responsibilities:

• Electrical measurement equipment calibration
• Panel wiring, electrical wiring, and installation of company products
• Maintenance of site electrical installations
• PAT

 
Requirements:

• HND or higher in Electrical Engineering
• At least 2 years' recent experience in industry
• Experience of working in a quality-controlled environment
• 18th Edition qualified preferred
• No specific prior knowledge of the company’s technologies is required
