Support Worker SEN School Merton, London Long-Term, Full-Time Immediate Start £85-£100 Per Day

 

A dynamic SEN school in Merton looking for a Support Worker to work closely with their SEMH pupils across who are unable to access mainstream schools. You’ll be assigned key pupils to work with in both 1:1 and group settings. You will be encouraging independence and the development of positive social behaviour as well as monitoring and reporting on pupil progress.  You will integrate a range of approaches to encourage optimal engagement and pupils will respond well with practitioners who exhibit empathy and patience.

  • £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Long-term, full-time
  • ASAP start
  • Can interview/trial immediately, including after school

The successful Support Worker will have:

  • Have a confident approach and resilient attitude
  • Have good SEN experience, especially of social emotional mental health (SEMH) and associated behavioural needs
  • Have a valid Enhanced DBS
