 A lovely catholic school in Crouch End are looking for a Teaching Assistant with Type 1 Diabetes training to support a child within their school.

The Role

In this role you will be providing support for a child in year 6 (10- 11yrs) who has Type 1 Diabetes.  The child requires support throughout the day to ensure monitoring and any medical support is provided correctly.

Alongside the medical support, you will be based in the year 6 class and providing support for various children in the class as needed. You will work closely with the school SENCO and the class teacher to ensure the child’s needs are met.

The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has

• Completed training to support children or adults with Type 1 diabetes and administer medication.
• Previous experience within a primary school
