Job description brief:

• Knowledge and post qualification experience in mortuary work including high risk and forensic post mortems
• Ability to use equipment and IT applications and interpret electronic information accurately.
• Experience of working on own initiative, demonstrating the ability to work under pressure
• Flexible approach to working hours, duties and location to meet the needs of the service
• Ability to travel using public transport or otherwise
• An understanding and application of the importance of customer focused service where service delivery and advice is vital.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet performance targets.
• Ability to organise work and maintain satisfactory work records.
• Ability to work safely and effectively under pressure
• Ability to implement and assist in developing policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines

Criteria:

Must be qualified Certificate/Diploma Anatomical Pathology Technology or equivalent Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Services.

Flexible working hours (6am start on occasion)

Previous experience working at a Public Mortuary (desirable)

Previous experience working with forensic postmortems (desirable)

Full time hours on a temporary basis.
