Job Title: Development Chef

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: c.30-35k

Shift Pattern: Days

The Role:

• Achieve a clear understanding of the authorised customer development brief with the Director or Sales Team in terms of product, packaging, timescales, and costings.
• Organise and assist in both kitchen and factory trials to evaluate recipe formulations and factory feasibility.
• Conduct product presentations both internally and externally.
• Co-ordinate sample requests from customers and provide samples in a professional and accurate manner with documentation.
• Assist the sales team with promotional activity i.e., major exhibitions, photography shoots, recipe information etc.

The Candidate:

• 12 months experience in food manufacturing with product development experience
• A creative flair for food and a logical investigative approach
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining a full driving licence.
