Senior React developer – React , REST APi’s, Azure, financial services knowledge.

To work for a leading Investment Management company where you will be entirely responsible for the greenfield rebuild of the company’s intranet.

Their intranet is an integral part of the company for all their individual divisions, it is a centralised gateway for funds managed, compliance, sales, research etc and is critical to the running of the company. The new platform must be fully accessible across all devices and both on and off prem.

It is essentially the front-end face of the business and must be designed accordingly

You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of design , development, testing, APIs and other integrations, and release and will have the product ownership of all the stages.

The first part of the project is to make it “fit for purpose” in the modern day before stage 2 build which will enable all trades and orders to be placed – a critical build for the business. You will be working with a small but very effective development team and will report directly into the Head Of Development but will have complete autonomy for this product.

This product will be a key aspect for the business as it will be used by all end clients allowing them to run as efficiently as possible, as such the individual required must be able to deliver in pressured situations.

Key Skills

• Excellent development experience in React.
• Good experience with Testing frameworks and being able to deliver quality code with zero errors.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented principles
• Full software development lifecycle experience

Nice to haves:

• It is in a C#/.NET and SQL environment – any experience with OOP would be a bonus.
• Azure
• FS knowledge or experience.
