Technical Business Analyst:  Hybrid - Bristol and other UK sites

Experienced Business Analyst with strong technical background is required by an International Life & Pensions business to work on a wealth management project with a third-party business.

The project will involve building APIs to handle financial transactions between the 3rd party and the client’s policy admin system. Therefore, we are looking for someone with a good understanding of APIs to work with the Development Team to document technical specifications and work with the team to deliver them.

You will need to quickly understand the business needs for both the client and the third-party customer, a Wealth Manager, in order to document the business and systems requirement.

You must have:

• A strong technology background
• Experience as a Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst
• Insurance Industry experience – ideally Life & Pensions or Wealth Management
• Experience with SQL, Restful API’s and JSON file format
• Good knowledge of programming languages, software development methodologies, and database technologies
