Remote Senior Developer- £80,000

Pearson Carter are currently working with a software provider to Managed Services Providers (MSPs) globally, who are currently expanding out their existing development team. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to further build on their unique market offering. They are looking for a Senior Developer who will be responsible for developing and implementing further elements within the core product with languages PowerShell (.NET) and JavaScript (Node.js and React.js) as well as leveraging technologies such as GitHub and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the Technical Director to design and build scalable and secure architectures within the core product.
• Maintain regular oversight of the development team, managing project progress, addressing challenges, and providing technical insights to the specific needs of each project.
• Write code and develop custom modules using PowerShell (.NET) and JavaScript (React/node.js).
• Ensure the team create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and user guides to ensure smooth project handover and knowledge transfer.
• Implement and maintain development using GitHub and Azure to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for applications.

Experience

• Extensive experience in .NET/PowerShell and JavaScript (React/node.js).
• Ideally a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience as an application developer with a strong focus on Azure Infrastructure and the Microsoft 365 Platform.
• In-depth understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and technical/non-technical stakeholders.

Salary + Benefits

They offer an excellent salary up to £80,000 and includes benefits.

Location

The company has an office in London; however, this role is fully remote.
