The Role:

In this role you will be working as part of the midday meal staff to supervisor pupils over the school lunchtime period. You will be required to work an extended lunchtime from 11:30am - 14:30pm Monday - Friday.  The role will involve work both inside the lunch hall and outside on the playground as required. You will need to have a calm, and authoritative approach to manage pupils during their free time. A good knowledge of health and safety in the school environment would also be beneficial.  This role is offered on an ongoing contract basis.

This specialist primary and secondary school is for children aged 5 to 16 with moderate learning difficulties (MLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), Autism (ASD) and complex medical needs. The school provides an outstanding learning environment that meets the needs of all pupils, while empowering and inspiring them to achieve their full potential. There is an established and dedicated staff team at the school who are committed to supporting both the children and their families. You will have access to regular training and development opportunities within your role.
