Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an Extra Low Voltage Systems Supervisor (ELV) who will manage a team of 12 internal technicians who are responsible for the maintenance of our fire alarm and emergency lighting systems across a University campus.

You will programme, allocate and supervise Fire alarm, Emergency Lighting, Security Systems and other extra low voltage maintenance and improvement work as required utilising in house labour and contract labour as appropriate. You will ensure that all work is effectively controlled using the systems developed for ensuring the group is productive, cost effective and transparent in all its operations.

You will hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent City & Guilds, FIA or BAFE fire alarm accreditations and you will have experience of managing a team of technical staff, ideally fire alarm maintenance.  You will have thorough working knowledge of BS 5839-1 & BS 5266-1 and significant vocational experience in fire alarm and or emergency lighting maintenance.
