My client are a major player within their sector and have a global reach with offices in over 20 counties. They pride themselves on solving engineering challenges across many industry sectors – including maintenance, repair, and overhaul, as well as general machining through to heavy machining, railway, and airframe assembly.

We’re looking for a Multi skilled engineer and you could be from sales engineer, applications engineer, or a CNC Programmer background. Benefits include a salary of £43 - £50K DOE, 15% bonus, Company Car (Hybrid option) Private Medical, Death in Service x6 salary and a superb overall benefits package.

This role requires the engineer to visiting with clients across Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Chester, Crewe, Merseyside, Cheshire postcodes and the occasional trip to head office but fully remote working.

To be successful as an Area Sales Manager, we’re looking for the following skills / experience

• Previous experience as a multi-skilled CNC Programmer,  Applications engineer or currently a Cutting tool sales engineer
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and being customer focused
• Confidently demonstrate solutions and benefits to the end user whilst on site
• Full UK driving license
