The Role

In this role you will be teaching music to cover 6 PPA sessions in the week, this will be across KS1 and KS2. You will take planning and assessment responsibility for these music lessons. The rest of your timetable will be flexible and will include teaching small intervention groups and providing class teaching to cover absences if required.  You should have excellent subject knowledge particularly in music, good classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships quickly with both pupils and staff. 

This role is offered on a part time contract basis from January 2023 - July 2024 and is paid to scale.

The school are open to applications from ECTs who want to develop their skills prior to taking on their own class and experienced music teachers. There is excellent training and support available for Early Career Teachers.
