Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for Skilled Work Coaches who will support unemployed customers who present with multiple barriers to employment including severe mental health, disabilities or lack of confidence.

Working with a fluctuating caseload of customers you will identify their barriers, lack of skills, previous employment history and what they want to do in the future. You will connect job seekers with training, mentoring and work opportunities to help them to secure and sustain in new employment and to break down their barriers and gain new skills.

You will have previous experience supporting unemployed customers with complex needs into work, or you will have worked with customers with barriers to life, learning or employment to overcome their personal challenges.  You will be proactive and compassionate yet have the skills to push clients to reach their goals.  You will be skilled in setting SMART targets and developing relationships quickly with customers, employers and stakeholder partners.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. You will also have access to your own vehicle as this role will be based across the region.
