Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Reading. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing, coding, and debugging software applications using Java programming language

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features

- Conducting thorough code reviews and ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards

- Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues

- Participating in software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment

- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java development

Candidate Requirements:

Skills:

- Strong knowledge and experience in Java programming language

- Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate

- Experience with web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL

- Understanding of software development principles and best practices

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Job Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Java Developer

- Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality software applications

- Experience with Agile development methodologies is highly desirable
