Sous Chef, £35,000, branded hotel operation, Wilmslow, Cheshire.

Sous Chef required for this recently refurbished branded hotel group located close to Wilmslow Cheshire. You will work closely with the Exec Chef ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen on a daily basis with a company branded menu. The Hotel is very busy with various events, conferences and weddings so experience within the banquet sector would be ideal but is not essential. 

JOB DESCRIPTION 
As Sous Chef you will help with all daily duties of running a busy kitchen, have input into company specced menus, stock control, H&S and general kitchen duties.

This is a hands-on role so you must be able to lead and develop your team. The successful candidate will have the ability to ensure the kitchen is run smoothly plus helping with the production and preparation of all food products.

The right candidate will have experience in a branded operation (80% frozen 20% fresh), be able to manage all types of events from large buffet style conferences to sit down weddings. Experience in a similar position would be beneficial but candidates currently working at Junior Sous Chef level will be considered.
