Software Engineer - SuccessFactors Technical Specialist

 

Salary: £750 Daily Rate 

Location: Remote (Home-based)

Join our dynamic HRIS team as a SuccessFactors Technical Specialist and drive excellence in system support, configuration, and innovation. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our SuccessFactors environment, ensuring seamless HR processes and supporting the continuous improvement of our HRIS capabilities.

As the technical specialist, you will provide hands-on support, maintenance, configuration, and customization of SuccessFactors. You will be the go-to expert for system-related issues and play a pivotal role in enhancing the system's functionality and efficiency.


Role Objectives

  1. System Audit & Improvement:

    • Conduct comprehensive reviews of the current configuration.
    • Propose solutions to maximize system potential and streamline HR processes.
  2. SAP Release Management:

    • Oversee and audit SAP release updates.
    • Ensure updates do not adversely impact current configurations.
  3. Training & Development:

    • Develop the skills of HRIS and HR business users through training sessions.
    • Promote best practices in system usage and configuration.
  4. Change Control & Quality Assurance:

    • Manage change control processes.
    • Ensure thorough UAT testing and quality adherence.
  5. Integration of Business Units:

    • Facilitate the integration of additional business units into SuccessFactors.
  6. Handover Coordination:

    • Coordinate the transition from solution suppliers to business-as-usual operations.
  7. Security Standards Maintenance:

    • Ensure the SuccessFactors application meets security standards.
  8. Data Accuracy & Compliance:

    • Maintain data accuracy in Position Management and Analytics.
    • Ensure compliance with GDPR legislation.
  9. Technical Support & Knowledge:

    • Work with IT infrastructure on single sign-on issues.
    • Utilize knowledge of IAS, IPS, BTP, CPI, Qualtrics, ServiceNOW, and E-Ploy.
  • Permissions: Configuration, testing, and deployment of SuccessFactors role-based permissions.
  • Reports: Configuration, testing, and deployment of SuccessFactors reports.
  • Business Rules: Configuration, testing, and deployment of business rules.
  • New Modules/Apps: Understand configuration and functionality.
  • IT Infrastructure: Knowledge of IAS Single Sign-on, Architecture, Programming Languages (C, Java, XML, JSON).

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • SuccessFactors configuration experience (Roles Based Permissions, Workflows, Reporting, Data Imports, Pick Lists) in modules like EC, EC Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, etc.
  • Experience in implementing and delivering People projects.
  • Experience in business requirements specifications and design options for Global HRIS, Recruitment, or payroll.
  • Knowledge of IAS, IPS, BTP, CPI, Qualtrics, ServiceNOW, and E-Ploy.

Desirable Knowledge & Experience:

  • Consulting experience in HR and learning management.
